Follow these exact steps to hide your YouTube subscribers on Desktop in 2022:

Head Over to YouTube Studio

To hide your subscribers on Desktop, the first step is to launch YouTube by heading over to www.youtube.com. I’d advise you to log in to your channel if you haven’t already done it.

Now, the next step is to head over to YouTube Studios. 

Head over to YouTube Studio

To do that, we’ll click on the profile picture in the top-right corner of the website like this, as displayed in the picture.

Select “YouTube Studios.” 

You’ll find it below “Purchases and memberships” and above “Switch Account.” 

Click on “YouTube Studio” to head over to YouTube Studio.  

Uncheck the “Display the number of people subscribed to my channel” Option in Settings

When you’re in YouTube Studios, in the left-hand navigation bar, select “Settings.”

You’ll find it as the second-last option.

How to Hide Subscribers on Youtube in Desktop in 2022?

As you click on “Settings,” a pop-up will launch in front of you. Here, you can review and change the settings of your YouTube channel. In the left-hand bar of the popup, click on “Channel.”

Upon clicking on “Channel,” you’ll see three options:

  • Basic info
  • Advanced settings
  • Feature eligibility

Click on “Advanced settings.”

To hide the subscribers’ count of your channel on YouTube, we’ll keep scrolling down until we find the “Subscriber count” option.

As you can see, by default the “Display the number of people subscribed to my channel” option is checked. This means – anyone can see my subscribers. 

To hide my subscribers, I’ll uncheck the box. 

Upon unchecking, select “Save.”

How to Hide Subscribers on YouTube in Mobile in 2022?

While you can always download YouTube Studios mobile application, I don’t think there’s an option to hide subscribers from within the application. It’s a bit complicated. But if you want to hide your subscribers on YouTube from your mobile, follow these exact steps:

Launch YouTube in Chrome and Change the View to “Desktop”

The first step is to launch Chrome and head over to www.youtube.com. Now, I’d advise you to log in to your channel (channel whose subscriber count you’d like to hide), if you haven’t already done so.

We’ll switch to the Desktop version of the website. To do this, you first need to click on the three-dotted line in the top-right corner of Chrome.

As you can see in the image, you need to select “Desktop Site.” Doing this will launch the website in Desktop mode.

Uncheck the “Display the number of people subscribed to my channel” Option on YouTube Studios

Now, the next step is to visit YouTube Studios. We’ll click on your channels’ profile picture in the top-right corner of YouTube – as displayed in the image.

Select “YouTube Studios.” 

Tap on “YouTube Studio” to head over to YouTube Studio.  

Now, you’ll be redirected to YouTube Studios. When you are in YouTube Studios, in the left-hand navigation bar, you’ll find a Settings icon at the bottom – as the second-last option.

Click on it to launch YouTube Studios settings.

How to Hide Subscribers on YouTube in Mobile in 2022?

As you click on “Settings,” you’ll see a pop-up launching in front of you. Here, you can review as well as change the settings of your YouTube channel. In the left-hand bar of the popup, select “Channel.”

Upon selecting “Channel,” you will see the following three options:
